I live in Birmingham area now but lived in Locks Heath for 17 years (moved up 5 years agao)
I am often down in Hampshire though as I pick my Son up every other weekend to visit me up here. How long you been riding now?

@Smithy641 East coast of Scotland is quite heavily populated so the roads are busy and quite boring, I'd say from Edinburgh, head for perth, Blairgowrie up to Spittle of Glenshee, onwards to Braemar. Up Deeside then over to Strathdon, over the Lecht to Grantown on Spey and follow the Spey to the A9...
