Re: Where does it say we must return home at night?

Re: GS1200ADV Friendly trails across the plains

It's very dry and hard with the odd mud puddle... But check for millitay manovers also some of the byways are closed mainly the stone henge links and any near farms or livestock... Some of the trails are rock hard so if you fall off it will hurt.

Re: WANTED - Honda CRF250L or similar (freeride etc...)

You can't beat a donk for low rev plodding... Modern stuff loves to rev.... One reason I've gone to a xt660z it suits my style of riding no hurry plodding but has speed when needed.... A 250cc is well boring... I'd say you need to factor in another £1k to sort the rally version to make it a better b...

Re: WANTED - Honda CRF250L or similar (freeride etc...)

I bought a 2500 quid bike unseen except speaking to the owner and a great vid around bike... From over 600mls away just arranged courier to collect for me... Was a great deal and worked out fine.. If the bike is the right price and turns out not for you sell it on... I once flew over 1000mls to coll...

Re: Great Western Trail (TET)

Dibbs.... Salisbury plain and wilts are bine dry and rock hard with high vegetation like mid summer with all the sun we have had... I'm not saying its possible on a tank but I'd not even a enduro would be hard work... Wait till autumn when undergrowth dies down... France in July would be a better be...
