At our age a proper bed is more forgiving..I'd now rather find a quite rural b and b etc than camp ...most sites are noisy over priced in UK...wild camping is another thing though... I used a wide thermoset base camp for years very comfy and warm but packed large...the amount of space camping gear t...

Total garages are offering fuel especially petrol very cheap compared to supermarkets now...the prices are all over the place compared to years of stability...world's gone frigging bananas...even food is expensive now in france...the french must really be struggling we where out end of Sept 2022... ...

On the plus side fuel is dropping ..got diesel at 1.55 euro a ltr today at a total garage near Mortain.in north...

The best roads in france are d roads followed by c roads ...always adventure to be had and things till discover...no speed cameras either...
