Re: A tale of two test-rides
I sooo miss my 701. I'm blown away by what I've been able to do on the 500s, and am in the middle of getting an 'iceman yeti' with rallymoto on the 890, and really enjoying its power and soundtrack, until I have to pick it up...
Good prices on the 700es just now...

Re: How to make a lighter Tenere 700
When I had a 701 I rode with loads of blokes with T7s - they're very popular here in Wales - so I had a couple of back-2-back rides on trails I know. Re: Phil Read RIP
I've actually raced with him with CRMC, and shared the occasional beer. I was slow, he was always at the front on the saturday but often missed races on the sunday ;) Even giving away decades to the other top riders he was fast. A legend who still enjoyed a nice bit of bike time when he was old enou...

SOLD - Beta Xtrainer 300 - 2020 - £4995
Beta Xtrainer 300. 2020. Std spec plus a nice rack. Low mileage as not used for months. This bike is fabulous to ride and is the best model smooth engine with balancer shafts and longer stroke for oodles of torque - it goes up anything and pulls from no revs at all, but I prefer the soundtrack of my...

Re: Water breaks its neck
I ride WBIN regularly. Its currently very dry. The old rutted section in the middle has developed its bad rain-washed ruts again after being good last year.
Monks Trod is open but the bog is still there and still deep and wet. it took some friends 4 hours last week
