Re: Beware lomo shit panniers...

I don't have first-hand experience of Lomo panniers, but with cheap luggage I have seen huge variations in reviews/feedback with people having little to no issues to others have ridiculously bad experiences. With higher-end luggage more time is spend on design, and material strength, testing etc. Th...

Re: Searching for Masters of Sand!

Thanks, I found it tough taking corners and crossing ruts when forced to go slow. I understand to keep the front light as much as possible but would love to just feel better about taking on rutted corners in that super soft stuff. I've had lots of advice now from various sources so best to get back ...

Re: what have you done to your bike today??

Well, rather than "what have I done to my bike today?" it's "what have I done FOR my bike today?" and the answer is order new wheel and linkage bearings/kit for trials bike. I am also about to clean the air filter on the exc-f, super exciting stuff  I actually don't mind the...

Re: Searching for Masters of Sand!

Thanks all! All good advice. I am getting some training not just on the exc 350 but also with the trials club too, on a 125 I just bought. Sand has been the most challenging so far but I really enjoy it, I'd just like to feel comfortable with moving over ruts and turning etc. I guess it's just anoth...

Searching for Masters of Sand!

Hey all,

I am new here, my name is Jess. I am a Kiwi (New Zealander). I ride a 2013 KTM 350 EXC-F Six Days.

I am looking for all your best tips for sand riding for an Aussie trip next year. I know about keeping weight back and lofting the front etc. What else ya brainiacs got for me?

Re: New Zealand or Not?

New Zealand is awesome! The South Island has some of the best adventure riding in the country, it is absolutely epic. You can get comprehensive routes and info here www.remotemoto.com or just join the NZAR groups on facebook and chat to some kiwis. Always keen to help out. :)
