I've got Britannia cover via CSMA too; went for the "personal" cover as I have a 40-odd year old Landrover (which wouldn't interest the bigger companies!)as well as modernish cars and bike. I've only used it a couple of times - both for bike tyre problems, and I found the service to be fin...

By 'warmer climates' you mean 'places where if you break down in the middle of nowhere you will probably die, unlike the UK, where at worst you might face a harrowing two-hour wait for the AA'? Yes...the beauty of the Series models is that they can be repaired with a hammer and screwdriver....none ...

Coincidence! I did my Transalp's tappets,plugs etc today too. What an awkward engine to work on..... or have I been spoilt over the years servicing my old Land Rover where everything is easy to get at? :dry:

we have 3 very red phones where i work....... I like that,too. I don't understand why the phone companies,and in particular BT, seem unable to root out these offending call centres etc, and stop most if not all of the nuisance calls. Looks as though the "clarification" of status given in 2006 has served only to further muddy the waters!..... drove Sarn Helen a number of times in my Land Rover years ago: it would be sad to lose this piece of history.
