Re: Long weekend in Wales & the ABR Festival

More please :D The u/c road between Bronaber on the A470 and Llanwchllyn is one of my top three Welsh roads- it links perfectly with the Llanwchllyn-Dinas Mawddwy (Bwlch y Groes/ Pass of the Cross) road.....which in turn links with the Lake Vyrnwy road ( Lake Vyrnwy Hotel is a brilliant coffee stop!)

Re: Tyres

Thank you all very much for your replies, input and advice; I've decided to go with Pirelli Scorpion Trail tyres in the end.

For my CB500X, I'm considering Conti Trail Attack 2 or Michelin Pilot Road 4 as a 90 /10 road/trail bias; to be used primarily on road ( gnarly, potholed, grass in the middle , loose chippings, unclassified roads- typical Welsh back roads) with the occasional foray into forest fire-break roads , dry...

Re: CRF 250L for sale 2016,, 10,200 miles

Seriously though, why not ask Thunderoad what is a fair asking price?

I'd heartily recommend a late model BetaAlp 200. Cheap as chips, light as anything, goes anywhere and rides like a mountain bike; didn't you have a go on mine up on the Epynt Ranges once?

Re: eBikes next

If your employer has signed up for the 'Ride To Work' scheme, you could buy it and give it to him, the discounts might make a new bike affordable and the monthly payments are taken out of your wages. Tredz, Halfords or one of the independant retailers should be able to advise- I bought mine from Dam...
