Re: Yamaha TTR 600RE front master cylinder

Hi folks and sorry for the very late update on this (it always annoys me on forums when the story is left open-ended!). I managed to get hold of a decent used original TT600RE master cylinder, with a broken lever. One new lever and a trip to Greece later, and the assembly is fitted to the bike. Whil...

Re: Yamaha/Belgarda TTR600RE Steering Lock

Thanks Gary and Hugh for your replies. Yep, sourcing parts is very tricky. I did already try Totally TTRs and although the owner (Steve, I think) was just incredibly helpful, he didn't have the parts and indeed really does only deal in 250s. Hugh, thanks so much for the link to the Trooper Lu websit...

Yamaha/Belgarda TTR600RE Steering Lock

Hi folks My steering lock for the above bike is bust (nothing dodgy!) and I would like to replace it. Here in Greece I can't find anything similar, and Yamaha want around 250 Euros for a new one, with key. Anyone know if it was used on a more common bike, or have one? Long shot, I know. Many thanks ...

Re: Yamaha TTR 600RE front master cylinder

Thanks Tramp. It looks a good fit, and I also came across this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KTM-KTM-Ark- ... 1216861614

Do you think go for the Honda one, or the KTM one? The Honda one looks better made.

Cheers

Re: Yamaha TTR 600RE front master cylinder

Thank you Tramp, that is perfect info. Here are all the photos I have. The whole assembly doesn't really fit very well, but maybe getting just a KTM switch would do for now! Cheers John Thats a brembo master cylinder as used on ccm 644,404 and lots of ktm... Their is a spring that activates the pist...

Yamaha TTR 600RE front master cylinder

Hi all I have a 2004 TTR600 which has had its brake master cylinder and lever replaced with something non-standard. The set-up is really yucky, with two mirror take-off points and a lever which has had a screw sort of brazed on the end, plus the top of the reservoir tends to foul the control cables ...

New Newbie

Hi, I'm John from the UK and occasionally Greece. Been riding for many years, via an Aprilia Pegaso 650, Honda Transalp and now a Suzuki Wee-Strom. In Greece I have a 2004 Yamaha (Belgarda) TTR600RE which is great, but a bugger to get parts for.

All the best

John
