I've been using one for 18 months, they don't half keep the wind and rain off!
A little overly warm in summer.
Other than that, you don't really know you are wearing them.
Can't comment on how well they save you, I've not tested that feature yet.

TG as their biggest cash cow 300K a year it sells on for(reportedly). Which makes it one of the few self funding shows the Beeb has. Without JC the show will be a pale imitation of 6th gear, and become another cost center, With JC it's a profit center - the accountants won't want to loose the £££. ...
