Re: CCM test ride reports -
Great report Minkyhead. You proved beyond doubt what a superb Trail Bike it is. If only I'd had one 10 to 15 years ago. Re: Morocco Newbie
We had a really easy border crossing because we were prepared with all our paperwork. Chris Scott's book "morocco overland" is a great help an his website has links to or downloads for all the paperwork you will need to help get you through the border. It took us just over half an hour to...

Re: Should we advertise green lanes?
I hesitate to raise a contentious subject that has been argued over many times. Marmolada scenery is amazing.
I first went to Fox glacier in New Zealand in 89/90.
When I returned in (I think) 2004, the foot of the glacier must have been about a mile further up.

If it happened that easily, it must have been ready to go.
Yes it takes longer than a broken bone.
Tough!

Re: Morocco--Green Card Insurance
The kids will love them yes, but there's no dental care there at all so best not to take sweets really. Fruit is better (specially oranges), also crayons are good for small children, they love those. Coloured chalk is also good. I reasoned ONE sweet wouldn't cause too much tooth decay, but there yo...

Re: Morocco--Green Card Insurance
My understanding of why it is worthless is that it is legal-minimum 3rd party only, so it is no use to you if you sustain damage in the incident. You are complying with the law though so you need to have it. I agree with one comment. The people and the attitudes are different in the south where they...
