Re: Wr450f gone decided on new toy

Great little bike - good for the TET trails and tarmac runs too. Recommend fitting the carbon fibre sump and side protectors from Kodama Composites and some Barkbusters.

Re: luggage

I have the Kriega OS-base setup and the 18l panniers on my CRF 250 Rally. Seem to fit well and usual Kriega quality, though not cheap. Will test them in anger in Sept on the French TET. I'd share a pic of if I could work out how....

Re: Ultraseal for tubed tyres?

Thanks for the comments guys. I do like the idea of carrying less tools and avoiding the hassle of tyre changes on the track. So think I'll give Ultraseal a go - and hope at worst it slows any punctures so I can get it to a tyre place if needed.

Any more experience - esp with Ultraseal?

Ultraseal for tubed tyres?

Looking to take my Honda 250 Rally on French TET trails in September and thinking about using Ultraseal or equivalent to avoid punctures and need to repair on the trail. What's been members' experience of using this it for tubed tyres?
Thanks.

Re: Honda CRF250 Rally – best mods / upgrades

Thanks Minky - but I didn't want to increase pre-load - bike is high enough as it is for me being 5' 8" on a good day.....

TET in Northern or Central France

I'm looking to explore the TET in Northern France in early September for a week. I've got a CRF250 Rally and used it a few times in Salisbury plain. I don't have much off-road experience so I would like a gentle introduction to the TET... :D But I'd also like to get some interesting scenic trails. A...

Re: Honda CRF250 Rally – best mods / upgrades

Enjoying my Rally, but I find the bike sits near vertical on the sidestand - and I have to be careful when parking to ensure it's not sat on a camber. This is not a good situation for off-road... As I'm of modest height I don't want to increase the pre-load. So I'm looking to take 1/2 - 3/4" of...
