Another rip off is admin, cancellation and policy change charges. They used to only be around £20 or even no charge in some cases. Now, i'm increasingly seeing these charges get more & more expensive. I'm seeing £40 or £50 on top of what ever extra premium they want. I try to change my bikes on...

I don't fancy the idea of converting my wheels to tubeless.
I was considering some Rally Raid wheels but the 18" and 21" aren't tubeless compatible from what I can see.

Thanks guys, some things to look at there. Thankfully I get full UK and EU breakdown and recovery with my insurance so they should cover me if I have any problems but I'd prefer to be able to fix and get going rather than wait hours for recovery! I've just bought an Africa Twin and it's the first time I've had a bike with tubes rather than tubeless tyres. New Adventure Bike Owner

Morning all!

Just registered here as I've just bought my first adventure bike after years of sports bikes and naked street bikes.

Got myself an Africa Twin and planning some touring and a bit of gentle off-roading on it. Hopefully it'll be as good as I'm hoping!
