Re: 2019 KTM 690
You need the Perun kit to fit it with the OBMT panniers, but they do list what it contains on their website. If you have a machineshop local I am sure they can make the spacers and you source new bolts. I opted for the kit, easiest option when ordering. I went for the simple pannier racks not the X...

Re: 2019 KTM 690
Perun for rear rack and Outback Motortek for pannier racks. That is what is on mine and there are no problems. Fast and efficient delivery and top marks for quality. :D Thats for the reply! You bike looks ace! Couple of quick follow ups... Perun seem to do a kit to affix their rear plate to the Out...

Re: 2019 KTM 690
Hi all, I have a new 2020 KTM 690 enduro R being delivered this week. Like everyone going on this journey, I am trying to work out the best upgrades and mods, and also the best suppliers (UK based ideally, so not getting stung with import duties etc.). So, initial priorities are: 1. cheap replacemen...

Re: CRF250 L thread
i like m21s ok they are resonable on the road and far far ahead of the ircs off road ...i find the front m21s tend to wear in to triangilar blocks quite early ..the 644s are much more even on wear and last much longer ...both the e09 and the m21 are a decent duelsport tyre but neither are much good...

Re: CRF250 L thread
difficult thing tyres ....you have to try them and see ,,,one mans good is another mans bad ...i bought 6 644s as like this year they were supposed to be doomed and then came back in ? for 50 /50 road and off road id probably opt for a pirrelli m21 instead i find them a resonable duelsport choice ....

Re: CRF250 L thread
Thanks very much for that. Minky.I would never have guessed that about EO9 front. I used MT21's on DR. Not bad. But prefer a smaller block. they are much better than the o/es gary ..and ride nice on the road ..the 644s big blocks mean they feel a bit skittish when new but they do settle down to be ...

Re: Honda CRF250 Rally – best mods / upgrades
High OB1--just visited your blog!--I didn't realise that you had destroyed one of my skidplates trying to fit a tubular structure over the top! You could have returned it and I would have given you a refund. I have commented in your blog as you mentioned that the middle was "soft" when yo...

Re: Honda CRF250 Rally – best mods / upgrades
This is how I secure my Altrider bag to the Rally. These clasps I secure under the rear rack, on other bikes I put them under the rear mudguard IMG_4612.jpeg The bottom straps I secure around the frame under the rear footpeg IMG_4613.jpeg Thanks Bob, You are a star. I am 100% happy with the rear st...

Re: Honda CRF250 Rally – best mods / upgrades
Bob and I both run an altrider hemisphere bag setup. I have mine set pretty far back as i like lots of room on the bike. I'm not prepared to compromise riding position just to get the bag in the best place. As a result mine sits quite high, resting on the exhaust shield and toolbox. I just have eno...
