Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or experience with a Honda Vfr 800 vtec. My local dealer has one that has caught my eye today. Its a 2009 model, full luggage, only 2,900 miles!! Looking £5,995 for it. Probably going to get a test ride later this week and see what I think

Thanks. Already spoke to vet about surgery. He told me it is a very long and painful recovery, with lots of physio needed. And even then a limited chance of success. Not sure putting him through all that is a good idea

Thanks again for the replies. Poor Finn is actually worse on his legs today. He fell badly in the middle of the night and I thought he had broke something cause of the yelping he was doing. I'm certain now it's time so it's looking like tomorrow or Saturday

I really do want to hold off, but even out in the garden just now they way he just stands looks so sad considering how full of life he once was. It's going to be an emotional day or 2 for us while we come to a final decision

Thanks for all the words of support. What's with us tough adventure bikers being so sensitive and understanding??? The thought of driving him over to the vets is what's really getting me at the minute! I definitely would stay with him through it though
