Re: Post Brexit Travel Insurance?
We'll have to do what people going to Morocco etc do and buy cover. When I ploughed a dirt road with my face in Morocco, I thought...thank goodness I've got medical cover as my helmet filled with stones.. When I (eventually) got to a hospital...guess what...I was seen instantly by a guy who spent a...

Re: Mid Wales Campsite.....
Another vote for this place: http://www.bwch-yn-uchaf.co.uk/ Its a long narrow campsite and facilities can be a fair walk from your pitch but stick a tent next to the river and get a fire pit lit and its hard to beat. The Eagles Inn is a pub/cafe/shop and general village meeting place. Excellent foo...

Wanted Garmin Zumo
Looking for a used Garmin zumo. Don't mind which one particularly if the price is right. Don't need lots of smartphone inter-activity because I haven't got one but EU or western Europe maps would be good.
Would consider a Tom Tom for a good price but not my first choice.

Re: Dorset KTMer
Cracked piston. Caused by the loom being chafed by the rear suspension rocker arm which damaged the wiring, knocking out an injector sensor so it was hosing raw fuel into the front cylinder. Loom is fixed and repositioned but the engine has been blue printed and the barrels have been machined. A new...
Re: Hebrides
Haven't been to the smaller islands of the outer Hebrides but Harris and Lewis is lovely. The locals are very welcoming and most are quietly spoken gaelic speakers. The beaches are astonishing. When the sun shines you'd think you were in Queensland or the Caribbean except there's a whiff of peat smo...

Dorset KTMer
Hi all, New to this forum but knocked around the KTM and Ducati forums for quite a while. I have a standard model KTM 1190 Adv. Started out with KTMs with a 990 SMT which I bought as a budget adventure-style tourer. Didn't quite fit that bill but a lovely bike nonetheless and it got me hooked on the...
