Re: Help from the car boffins please...
ok...although you say the car was expensive, is that in the terms of "more than a few pounds"...or..... "it was at the top-end of the used prices for that model/year/mileage"? Used bike/car prices, as you should know , are based on condition. If you paid the lowest price, then do...

Oliver's Mount-Cock O' The North Road Races- Sat 20th/Sun 21st July 2013
Who's going? My tickets have arrived, although you can get them on the gate, @£20 per day.
Dean Harrison will be there, who is going VERY well at the moment, and young Jamie Hamilton too.
Weather looks good too! Can't wait for what looks like an excellent weekend

Re: XT660X - Help with Identification Please (asap!)
Well it looks like the 2012 circular logo on top, and a XTX logo from another year, or possibly ebay below. It has a non standard seat, which looks good if you are a shortie. Basically, it has been customised, and probably a UK bike.
I'm no expert- but that seems a good price from a dealer

Re: Cheap(er) multi-bike insurance
Just renewed mine today - DRZ plus VFR - £320 for 15 month's cover via MCE. Carol Nash were competitive - it was the 3 months free from MCE that swung it. But Bennets were a joke, couldn't / wouldn't give me a quote because the DRZ has an Acerbis petrol tank. Dave tell me about it!! Bennetts have R...

Re: Any Trips Between July 24th - Aug 1st???
just a suggestion, as I would love to go but can't this year, a little trip around Ireland, taking in the Armoy Road Races on the 26/27th, http://www.amrrc.com/
Re: 2014 TT
There are buses trams and taxi's...so you will find that getting about is quite easy when the roads are open. Bear in mind though, the mountain section will be one way all the time.....you could always bring a helmet for when you are set up camp, and cadge a lift around?
I have sent you a pm !

Re: Isle of Man TT, Who is going?
I couldn't believe it when Gary was leading the SSpt race last year and ran out of petrol on almost the last bend
On only its second lap that MV was the fastest through the first two sections, Glen Helen and Ballaugh
