Re: Ktm 390 adv anyone had a go one one?
I had a one as a loan bike when my 790 went in for a service, my partner has a Himalayan, so some experience...definitely better than the Himalayan but not as good as the 790...to be expected. I found the motor to run out of puff on highway speeds, it seemed a tall bike too..a decent first bike or ...

Re: Trackers that do not need to be hard wired?.
I know that you can use their SIM card in the Monimoto tracker and pay €3 a month subscription, does this cover the usage if it's tracking for example a stolen bike / you're out without the keyfob on a ride and it's sending out messages where it is? I used there sim card and subscription, although ...

Re: Drones
I’ve got a Mavic and very rarely use it, people don’t like them, they think your spying on them..everyone I use mine I get asked to stop...to be fair there are quite strict rules now on where you can fly them...ok if your somewhere remote..plus you need to pass a test and carry a licence number on t...

Re: Garmin Rugged powered mount with 12v cigar plug
Input can be between 10 -50 volts so obviously step down within mount. been running one for 4 years with power feed spliced into side light wiring so only live with ignition on. This is a scan from instructions booklet Garmin rugged mount001.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200417/b0bff4cb724...

Re: Garmin Rugged powered mount with 12v cigar plug
So your running 12v to a 5v garmin.... It'll be toasted soon.... That's why all garmin use a convertor in leads somewhere. You must use a step down system of some sorts... I’ve used a rugged mount with the wiring cut back and hard wired into the switched 12 volt system for years with no problem...i...

Re: Beware lomo shit panniers...
Lomo do an adventure pannier now, if I had my time again I’d buy these, the throw overs have some limitations but for the money they’re good value
