Re: Wales

You'll have to dodge all the t5 campers at Coed-Y-Brenin.

Are you looking for true 'wild-camping' or more of an off-grid campsite?

Re: Ferry bookings .... Refunds ??

We made the wise choice of traveling in late february and then got completely cut-off in the mountains of Portugal when the lockdown came into effect, mad dash to get on the last ryanair flight out of Portugal, our vehicle is now sitting at Lisbon Airport and we're being quoted £2000+ to have it shi...

Re: Sri Lanka

Did a loop of the whole island back in 2016 on xr250 bajas (probably the same bikes/company you're renting from?)... We did about 70% offroad. Took about 12 days. Beautiful country / roads... There were some pics in my rtw thread... Not sure if it still exists. I have some gpx routes somewhere I thi...

Re: A photo you took, today

Fortunately, I wasn't at the front at this point... We live about a mile from this trail, it's been getting progressively deeper over the last 6 months, to the point where I now send the dog in to see how much of it he swims and how much he walks. Impressed by your commitment 8-) , last time ...

Re: Beta Alp 200

That looks a minter! 8-) 8-) I had one of the 200 models for a couple of years, used it for everything and it was bulletproof. My girlfriend also rode a dr200 (same engine) thousands of miles across Canada/Alaska with pretty much no issues. That said, The front sprocket retaining bolt snapped on us ...

Lightforce 170mm AUX lights - rally bike? rrp £300

Clearing out the garage and figured these might be of interest to someone on here, would make a fantastic rally bike headlight. These are huge, seriously powerful lights, the amazing thing is that each individual light weighs under 600grams. They feel incredibly light for their size. I'm happy to do...

Re: Fantic 500s with the 6-spd Zongshen NC450 motor

Gotta admit, the longer travel rally version looks the part. I saw one at a bike show a few weeks ago and initially thought it was the new triumph 1200 scrambler (from a distance) which is no bad thing!

Re: Rider on the Storm

:o 3 years ago this month we drove a van along that very road and swam in that lake, slept in the van each night too!... If there's one place in the world I'd like to have car troubles it'd be canada, everyone wanted to stop and help/chat! In fact we broke down on the way back and got a lift almost ...
