Great tent! Doddle to put up, used mine when in Scotland last September.
Bargain at this price too.

Re: Van Wanted!
I read somewhere a release from an auction house which said the average transaction price for a used van (typically a 3-year-old one being 'defleeted') has gone up by £4,500 in the last year. Re: Van Wanted!
Have a look at ex council vans with disabled access at the back. Generally ignored by most of the folks but be ideal to drop the ramp and wheel the bike in.
Likely to have low miles, and be well looked after.

Switchgear on this bike is awful lol in my opinion. I’ve sat on it at NEC and it was ok, looked better I think. Fiddling with switches made me feel like it was fur coat but no knickers.

Got to love Ryan F9. He’s got a good (my kind of) sense of humour too.

[quote="Scott_rider" So...we need to get from Calais to that part of France in no more than 2 days. I know that’s do’able but I’m wondering if we should take an extra day to make it easier and if so any suggestions on that section of the route?[/quote] Personally I think 3 days is a better...

Re: Route advice please - Eastern France to the Med
Some great pics there. Those who haven't toured in central/southern France possibly don't realise just how varied and interesting the scenery is. You get everything from snowy peaks to deep ravines, massive limestone areas and superb caves to big deep forests. All within easy range of each other an...

Menton is a nice place to stay. Spent 14 days there a few years ago. Close to the Italian border, close to Monaco. A nice promenade with nice clean beaches. Campsite is available there I think. It is indeed, wife and I used Menton (weirdly Italian seem to be primary language) as a base for one nigh...
