I have been running with a set for the last 3 years. They have high, low and flashing settings . High is great on empty roads low is a good light too and doesn't offend oncoming traffick, I have only used the flashing a couple of times,once when at the scene off an RTA and once whilst filtering down...

Sounds like someone has organised a deep water dip/crossing on one of the ride outs
