Re: Seat rebuild

Sussex Motorcycles reupholstered my BMW R1200C seat. Memory foam and a new cover. Great job. The seat was 17 years old, as was the bike, I bought it new in 2000. The new seat made it all so nice and comfortable.

Try www.tourinsure.de they cover situations like this. I have had friends from outside EU come in to use bikes and they but a green card. Not sure though if it works for EU residents.
I tried them and they said they can not.

So I need to get insurance. - His insurance company will not add me as a named rider as he has two bikes - My i...

Re: Biolite campstove

I love technology and it looks really cool. But for me its a bit too big. If I was driving a GS Van I might consider it. As Chalky723 says, you can charge everything from your bike. I carry a Jetboil as it packs down really small.

Re: tet....pissing me off

Hmmm, for people like me that are new to adventure riding it's a great resource. I was one of the first to do sections of the Swedish TET last August on my CB500x Rally Raid Level 3 and I met another rider doing the TET in the opposite direction. It was great fun. The way I approached it was to dip ...

Re: The new mag number 44

The email said," Just a quick note to let you know the new issue of Adventure Bike Rider magazine (Issue 44) is out now and is available from the ABR website."

I received issue 44 in the post last year.

Re: WANTED - Looking for Overland Panniers

These look to have the best of both worlds, soft and secure; https://www.lonerider-motorcycle.co.uk/products/motobags I was looking at the Adventure Spec Magadan's, but these look tougher far tougher and more secure. Sort of destruction testing video on their facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/...
