I have done the Moto Piston rally in Colombres afew times, one rider was fined for not having his lights on during a daylight ride, he was on a 1920's Triumph with acetalyne lights.

on our honeymoon in 1987 we used the Corran ferry to get to Strontian, almost to the day 25 years later I went across there on the Sprint on the way to a Triumph rally on Skye, they didn't charge me for the bike.

I was visiting a friend that has trouble walking due to a long term leg injury, and noticed that he had a bicycle chained up in his front garden. I mentioned that he wasn't the sort of person I would have thought of as a cyclist, he pointed out that he couldn't cycle and the bicycle had no pedals or...

My Wife decided that we should buy an outfit, so we did, the idea was that she would drive/ride it, but I have become the driver, on the upside I have met some very weird ( in a good way ) folk in the sidecar world.

The Chairman of the Sidecar Federation has an off road/ Adventure bike outfit, another decent point of reference is Tri-Anglia wheels or try to google sidecarland, should bring you to the same place.
We had more than 20 outfits, ancient and modern at the Peterboro show in May.

Try talking to Tony Archer 01484 536832 in Huddersfield who has rebuilt and modified several seats for me. There isnt to much that he hasnt seen.
