Re: Towing a m/cycle to france, Germany, Switzerland
I took two bikes from the UK to Romania and back a month ago. Took the log books but didn’t need anything going into France or back to the UK. I did have to produce the log book when I took it out of Shengen (which for me was Hungary to Romania) - all v straightforward. As noted above chunnel cost m...

I thought that too, partly why I took the photos. I was there in November and it was ok. Clearly water damage, in a very major way, over a short period.

Walked this today. Here’s a combo of my wife, mate and dog illustrating the issues. Hard to argue against the TRO! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220320/29f08b520741238e2fb20ae24532f467.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220320/488432b93eeebaf1dbf5081d9cb49a07.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cd...

Re: Holiday insurance
Good share Ian.
I buy an annual policy through work and always check the wording carefully too. Quite a lot of policies limit cover to smaller bikes (eg 125cc and below), as well as for a maximum number of days.

Im a newbie
Maybe its just me but i don’t like these sorts of videos. Its great that we all like different bikes, life would be dull if we all liked the same. i’d prefer to celebrate someone else’s choice rather than mock it. (This is not meant as pointed remark, just a personal observation).

Re: Im a newbie
Well I researched it and in January 22 I purchased the PA special. Its not the perfect adventure bike but I think Harley have give it a helluva go. Looking forward to my new travels and engaging once again with the ABR's. Welcome! Your post made me watch this - seems capable of more than I thought ...

Soar Y Mynydd closed
Strata not regularly and only at low water, I enjoy the technical parts but dont enjoy the mechanical or physical risk of it going petetong or deep water ingress regardless. Sounds sensible - would be beyond my abilities. I ride it fairly regularly, but drowned my Freeride once when the puddle was ...

Re: Soar Y Mynydd closed
Thanks for the share. Ive walked that one with the dog a few times in the last few months and seen some 4x4s coming off of it. It was pretty rough in places (but not as bad as some others i have seen). A beautiful part of the world…but not a busy one, I can’t see the local authority dashing to repai...
