Ardcase Panniers for BMW R850/R1100/R1150GS with Metal Mule Frames

Hi all, I'm looking to sell the trusty Ardcase panniers and MM frames from my R850GS, as unfortunately they don't fit the frames on my new Tenere! They're currently fitted to the GS stored in London, whilst I'm currently living in Bournemouth, so I've had to upload pictures of the boxes in use to be...

Re: WANTED - Looking for Overland Panniers

Just gone to buy some Magadans after much deliberation and they're out of stock :(

Long shot, but by any chance is there anyone out there looking to sell a pair of Magadans?

Re: WANTED - Looking for Overland Panniers

Funnily enough, I read about the Motobags this morning for the first time. They sounded perfect, but then saw the price of €900.... which is 2.5x the Magadan cost! The problem with a lot of the soft luggage I'm finding, is that supporting straps go across the pillion seat, which surely makes it unus...

Thanks, but after more heavy duty, top-loading panniers to fit the existing Metal Mule frames.

I do a lot of 2-up touring, so the ability to squash stuff in with the lid is a must!

WANTED - Looking for Overland Panniers

Hi all, I recently swapped my R850GS for a XT660Z Tenere and was hoping my brilliant 'Ardcases' panniers would be an easy fit to the new bike, but sadly the LHS pannier has an exhaust cutout, so does not fit. Therefore, I'm looking for either symmetrical aluminium panniers along the same lines as my...

Re: WANTED- Adv Bike £3k Budget!

XT's looks a brilliantly capable bike, but I do need to (more than occasionally) carry a pillion passenger in relative comfot, hence why the CB500X, the Tenere or indeed another BMer are looking ideal.

Re: WANTED- Adv Bike £3k Budget!

Honda CB500Xs can be had for less than £3K. They do 80 mpg, and you can use the money saved to upgrade the suspension etc. I've been looking at those actually; really good value bike, it just looks like it needs a good bit of money spent on it before you can even think of taking it off-road! With t...

Re: WANTED- Adv Bike £3k Budget!

Unfortunately resurrecting this thread; the R850GS spluttered into life a couple of days after the original post, and I've still no idea what the issue was! It was running absolutely perfectly until last week when it cut out on me in the pissing rain on the M3. From all collective evidence, it seems...
