Adventure Bike Rider magazine back issues 01-48

My biking interests are narrowing and I am disposing of back copies of this illustrious magazine, including the issues 01, 02 and 03. In fact it's a complete set of issues 01-48 except issue 24 and 45, so 46 magazines in total covering the period 'Summer 2010' through to Sep/Oct 2018. All in very go...

Really good idea, Nathan. So sorry to see it temporarily thwarted by new restrictions, hope things will be better for you in the New Year.

According to AdvRider forum you shave some off by changing the seat to that of the base model.

Re: 790 Adv at Fowlers

I agree with Mike, with 240 mm of suspension travel the R has more to play with, but if you then lower the bike you start moving back to the 200 mm of the non-R. No point in doing this. On the R you would be able to adjust the front forks between comfort, normal and sport, on the non-R they will be ...

Re: 790 Adv at Fowlers

I test rode the 790 Adventure (non R) last month to confirm my order for the bike. Not keen on orange and 'my' white one will arrive in May. Some notes from the ride comparing it to my 690R... Jason Jones at The KTM Centre in Hemel Hempstead had the 790 Adventure waiting with only 40 miles on the cl...

Re: KTM 690 enduro info

Any bike by definition is a set of compromises, especially in the long distance comfort vs off-tarmac choices.  The KTM 690 is one of only a few bikes that you can stick 50 kgs of luggage on, ride 1000+ km, and then head off over a ploughed field or sand dunes with the luggage still attached.  I use...

Re: Mousses

http://www.morocco-knowledgebase.net/tim/1501-moussefit.jpg Attacking with gusto but not much skill Hi Mike, I was hoping you would see my post. The bead/rim placing might be what I'm doing wrong. Having read up on Bib-up spray I can see how that would help. And I might get some valves so I can giv...

Re: Mousses

I think Tim uses them on a KTM 690, he said he has used his mousses in two sets of tyres now so that equals to about 9000 miles and still going strong, his max speed on the road is no more than 60 mph and with only doing trails in morocco and some road work it sounds as though he is not over heatin...

Re: For sale: 2009 (09) Tenere 33000 miles £2900 Putney SW15 London

I appreciate it's a bit early in the season for buying bikes, but I'm shortly going to be out of the UK for ten weeks so will have to stick the Tenere in storage.

Hence a drop in price to £2,700 if anyone is interested in the next 12 days.

For sale: 2009 (09) Tenere 33000 miles £2900 Putney SW15 London

Owned by me since it was three months old, this has spent much of its time headquartered in Spain and is a veteran of many great trips in Morocco with a mix of on and off-tarmac. Just returned to UK with a fresh MOT dated yesterday. The lack of tractability of the standard engine has been sorted wit...
