Re: TRF national mapping project

My understanding of what the current directors of The TRF Ltd is trying to do is to create a critical mass of trail-riding motorcyclists which will force national government to ensure an adequate network of routes is kept open for trail riding. Hence free access to the routes database and Trail mag...

I was solo and failed to get this out. Tried for a few hours. No option but to abandon the bike and walk 6 miles to rescue. Left it over night and went back and 3 of us recovered it......many years ago now!

Re: 3 days - 530KM - Bulgaria off road - Borovets to the Rhodopes mountains

Truly awesome Dave. Cracking vids. For those that haven't been to Bulgaria, its 100% worth it. You are unlikely to have ridden in such a go anywhere place. It really is ride where you want. Very few restrictions (national parks are a no go) but anywhere else..... I've had my bike shipped with Bulgar...

Re: Scottish locals.....

thanks, yes seen the smidge forecast. Doesn't look good for the next 5 days. (3+ and probably worse where I want to go). Thinking of postponing the trip for a month. Beginning of October should be midge free according to what Im reading. Will be with the dog, so although I can cover up, he cant........

Any Scottish locals on here that can comment on the current midge status, and predictions for in a couple of weeks. Want to hike from Glenfinnan to ...

Re: 10 Years Ago This Month

Ive been around from issue 2. Remember a mate showing me edition 1 in a pub one day. Since then Ive met a load of good mates from here. And had plenty of bike adventures along the way. Ace stuff....oh, and witnessed the birth of ABC!

Happy 10th birthday ABR!
