Re: One of the locals

We get refugees from the shoot on the estate the other side of our village.
Currently 4 but the record is 14.
They destroy the grass under the bird feeder so we’re having to lay some paving.

It’s still bloody irritating, first world problem or not.

Re: Thanks DHL, ya ba*tards...

It’s all Brexit’s fault. ;) :D Just think that 20 years ago you would have had to drive to a dealer, give them your list, which they write down wrong, wait three weeks, go back to the dealer, argue about the wrong bits, wait another three weeks etc etc. Now we get the wrong bits in a few days....or ...

Re: 4 Hours of my life wasted

To add to the near misses... We were in the car in Mulhouse many years ago on our way to the fabulous Schlumph Bugatti museum and stopped at some traffic lights behind a large high sided truck. For some gut reason I left a gap, which was just as well, as the tailgate flapped open and about 5 tonnes ...

Re: Insurance rant ( again)

I tried that route but they just said that I had declared it as being garaged so I was stuck with it. Idiots.

Re: Insurance rant ( again)

I have just gone with Bikesure, they were half the price Hastings Direct were asking for a renewal. I’ve just left them to go to RH for my classic Triumph. The other two will follow at renewal. The bike must be locked away 24 hours a day when at home so, theoretically, if it got nicked while you we...

Re: New Zealand humour!

Just about the most inappropriate bike to have in NZ.
Saw a few and they were holding up all the traffic cornering upright.

IMHO, 500 to 800 SM or ADV would be the best combo of weight and power. Preferably under 200kg.

Re: 4 oclock problems

The 4pm 'coffee break' is being looked at now. What we do know is that the server is not going down and it is not ABR specific - it is happening on all our websites. We've a database expert lined up to check what is actually happening. DavidS - please post up a screen shot, this is not something we...
