Re: M26 closed overnight for a week

Don’t blame just Brexit for this one.
It’s been a huge problem for years, probably before even Farage came along.
It’s just been fudged all the time.

Re: wanted trail tech speedo

Maybe teaching to suck eggs but Is it the screen or just the battery in the speedo?
My old KTM speedo was going awol and, even though the battery was showing enough voltage, a new one fixed it.

Re: M26 closed overnight for a week

Daveuprite is actually spot on with this one.
The French understand distance travelling whether by car or truck.
We just leave everyone to their own devices or rip them off.

But French truckers still p*ss against their vehicle wheels rather than use the toilets 10m away.

Re: Pilgrims way

Probably preaching to the converted but you can ride for ages around there. I’ve only been taken round but there are loads of offshoots. Look at the interactive ROW map on Kent CC website for lanes. Have you got a permit? There are 5 permit lanes and you really need it to make a proper route. Easy t...

Re: Looking for some nice routes in East Sussex and Kent

The TET (Transeurotrail) is a new thing utilising existing lanes but set up as a route as long as you care to make it so not actually new lanes. It wasn’t around then so you haven’t missed anything. Those of us in East Sussex are based towards Eastbourne and inland so don’t get over your way much sa...

Re: Looking for some nice routes in East Sussex and Kent

The relevant County websites will help you as they should clearly show what is and isn’t usable. They are both interactive although the last time I looked at the Kent one it was a bit cumbersome, not helped by not really knowing where I was looking at when I zoomed in. The TRF are realistically the ...
