Re: What is an adventure ?

If you are a crap rider like me, any local trail ride can be an adventure.
Definitely anything that takes you beyond your comfort zone are into new places and people, whether it’s local, the other side of the world or anywhere in between.

Re: EU. In or out?

We’ve managed to flog half the country off to foreigners, including, sadly, the Chinese, so who knows. The media and politicians are as bad as each other and neither can be trusted. Loud shouting about any issue usually means nothing but I take your point. However, unless I spend half my life invest...

Re: EU. In or out?

But they will alienate the Leave members.
The referendum was supposed to be non party but none of the parties seem to accept differing views.

Re: Africa Twin for road riding only - opinions?

Within the legal limit we should all do our best to stay within ;) even my 690 Enduro on knobblies was brilliant fun on the road so pretty much anything with a decent frame is probably ok. Anyone doing the MCC Exeter Trial in the New Year?

I've agreed to passenger a Dellow car for a neighbour in the next village (no roof, no heater so probably even more uncomfortable than a motorcycle)

Dark, cold, and probably wet.

I must be mad!!!!
Must be better than a sidecar passenger!

Re: EU. In or out?

The trouble is, the mouthy shouty prat has won whatever happens.
If the BBC stays there he heckles, if they go away, he's succeeded.
Quite why they put their reporters out in all weathers defeats me. It’s not as though anything is happening.

Re: EU. In or out?

I don’t think anyone will convince an ardent remainer or leaver to change their mind but that doesn’t mean an opposing view shouldn’t be respected.
Slagging off ‘the other opinion’ isn’t a tolerant attitude.
