Re: Snowdonia, Wales, UK off road in the snow ☃️
I too did Wales a couple of weeks back in the snow. Mid Wales for me and roads rather than trails, but a few times I had to turn around up to llyn Brianne, devils staircase and elan valley on the Crosstourer. What sort of tyres were you using. It good to do some bike bike trails. I’m on Michelin An...

Re: Snowdonia, Wales, UK off road in the snow ☃️
Thanks for the nice comments all! That looks fabulous. Is much (or any) of that route part of the TET route? It takes in a bit of the route around there, yea. There's so much you could spend weeks just bimbling around Wales. My favourite place yet for riding, good to be with someone who knew where t...

Snowdonia, Wales, UK off road in the snow ☃️
A few weeks ago it snowed. It snowed a lot. A couple of us rode our GSs from London to Wales to go trail riding through that, mostly because we're idiots. I have to say, it was totally gruelling getting there; the snow was forecast light, and we figured we're adventure types, it'll be fine. Riding t...

Re: New TRF website
Thanks for the feedback guys, I've just had a long chat with the directors, and all the others that helped build the new system. We'll collate it all soon, and figure a solid plan of action, but hopefully the new work we're planning will solve a lot of your concerns. What is the point of all the goo...

Re: New TRF website
maybe you could answer the big question of why the acknowledged important registration and renewal system could not have been linked to a modern version of the old forum. Long story short, David: the old forum software just wasn’t compatible with a modern system that would also link to memberships....

Re: New TRF website
At the risk of painting a target on my head, I'm actually one of the volunteers who built the new system. Obviously there's a lot of strong opinion about the new stream of chat on the home page, and I'm taking it in. It's a starting point, and we genuinely want to make it a top notch tool for curren...

Dawn 'till Dusk: August 6th. 285 miles; 80 green lanes
The TRF are running an epic day from Cambridge up through Thetford Forest to Hunstanton and back, taking in as many green lanes as possible. It's 285 miles, and 80 green lanes , and it's raising money for Headway, Cambridgeshire , but it's only £10 a head to join in. There've been some cancellations...

Thetford Forrest
Here's a route I made. It's been checked over by Suffolk and Norfolk TRF TRO officers. http://my.viewranger.com/route/details/ODA2OTk= there's a nice mix of stuff in it.
