Re: Who services their own bikes?

I've been doing all the work on my departed Buell for the last six years, every thing from oil changes to engine rebuilds. That was a joy as the Harley engines are a doddle to work on. I will be starting with the basics on the GS this weekend, oil and filter etc then I will just go from there..........

Re: Moto GP season starts here!!!

It's that making 6000000 bikes gives you the financial backing you need to make and develop race bikes, thats without calling on your car department. No-one wants to see VR do well on a Duc more than me, but I think he will do well to finish in the top three this season.

Re: Moto GP season starts here!!!

I hope so too, people forget that Honda make 6000000 bikes a year, Ducati make 35000-40000.

Re: Moto GP season starts here!!!

After riding Ducatis for many years, including trips to the factory and WDW the Ducati mentality is different from the other manufacturers. I would not be surprised if Vale walks out after one season, Ducati mind set is "we'll build the bike you ride it, whether they will bend to his lordships ...

Re: One for us GS owners and those who aspire to one

Oh and red bikes are faster than blue ones. :P As my riding buddy found out saturday on his Buell  been using the GS to commute (I have to, I don't own a car) and hadn't really gave it it's legs since I've had it, but I did then, still not flat stick, but fast enough to see no headlight in my ...

Re: One for us GS owners and those who aspire to one

All good ... It's the ability to take the piss and have a little banter with each other that I like about this forum. A bit of 'BMW versus KTM jousting' can quickly bring out the worst in some other forums but most on here have the sense to enjoy craic for craic's sake. :) Bang on there mate, if we...

Re: A word in praise of the service from Hood jeans

Where I got my Sand jacket from is now the first place Hood Jeans have had as a separate outlet. The jeans are still made in the UK, but only the camos are made in the original factory in East Anglia, the rest in a factory in the midlands, credit to them for not shipping production out to the far ea...

Re: One for us GS owners and those who aspire to one

It seems a lot less "snipey" on this site than a lot of others I'm registered on, which for someone with zero, and I mean zero off road experience is very pleasing indeed :cheer:
