Back in the 1960s I had a 80cc scooter. Once when the throttle cable broke I tied a piece of string direct to the carb and worked it with my knee. Got me the couple of miles home.

I have given mine to my local Fire Station. They are happy, not just for the obvious reason. Their training is often centralised so a helmet donation gives them a chance for local training.

I always like to buy magazines in a shop, I view it as helping the local economy. I have never taken out a subscription. I haven't been able to find the ABR magazine in my local W H Smiths since lockdown. In fact their range of bike magazines seems reduced as well. Anyone else having this problem? tom

The higher the ISO the poorer the picture quality. ISO 200 will give better photos (subject to lighting) than ISO 1600.
