Remember in the spring the Scottish countryside world is full of lambs.

On seeing danger i.e. a motorbike, they run to their mothers. If their mother is the other side of the road that means across your path.

Keep your eyes open!

A lit fag has a miniscule chance of igniting the sparse vapour, a static discharge when someone gets out of there car/truck whatever and grounds themselves against the bodywork is a far greater risk, but in reality it hardly ever happens In the US, I get so much static from the cheap and nasty rent...

+1 for fjr. After a putting big miles on a K75 and a R1100RT I bought a FJR 1300. My wife found it the most comfortable bike we have owned. The torque shrugs off everything.
