Re: Work Case #21 DRZ400 in 2019

Back in the 1960s I had a 80cc scooter. Once when the throttle cable broke I tied a piece of string direct to the carb and worked it with my knee. Got me the couple of miles home.

Re: What to do with an old helmet?

I have given mine to my local Fire Station. They are happy, not just for the obvious reason. Their training is often centralised so a helmet donation gives them a chance for local training.

Re: Heated waistcoat

I got one off Ebay this time last year. It was dirt cheap, £20. My expectations were pretty low. ABR Mag

I always like to buy magazines in a shop, I view it as helping the local economy. I have never taken out a subscription. I haven't been able to find the ABR magazine in my local W H Smiths since lockdown. In fact their range of bike magazines seems reduced as well. Anyone else having this problem? tom

Yeah, that's a lovely bike. Great to see it being used properly, not just polished and trailer-ed about.
I fully agree with the above sentiments, lovely bike being used what more can be said.

...however

Nearly 40 photos of the same bike!

.. and also, i notice that the definition is only about the same as my older phone cam, despite it saying it had double the megapixels.

The higher the ISO the poorer the picture quality. ISO 200 will give better photos (subject to lighting) than ISO 1600.
