Re: Broad band, wifi speeds to laptops?

You don’t need an ethernet cable, use a powerline adapter. Networks the house via your 13amp electric sockets. I use it to link my router downstairs to my IMac upstairs and my smart tv. Only use wifi for phones and my ipad
Have found Solwise plugs the most reliable.

Re: Ecky Thump Rally 11 to 13 October

Always wonder with these autumn camping rallies, how do you stay warm at night.
I find September nights cold!

Re: Overland Event

Never needed my stove at the ABR rally. Will I be able to do the same at the Overland Event?

Just need tea in the morning and coffee beer and food during the day.

Do I need my stove?

Re: Battery information

Lithium batteries often need “warming up”. There are lots of posts re this in CCM GP450 circles. The battery can sometimes appear dead. Putting it under load can revive it either by using the starter or lights. According to Skyrich (as used in CCMs) as long as the charger can satisfy certain conditi...

Re: Beware lomo shit panniers...

I have seen Stormsure recommended for canvas tent repair, never tried it myself.
I like the idea of sellotape one side, do the repair on the other side then when dry remove sellotape and do that side.
There are some videos on youtube.

What have you got to lose?

It might just save the day, but then again......

Re: Motion sickness

Two things to try. Look as far ahead as possible (horizon as said above), has worked for me with sea sickness. Don’t look at the back of the driver’s helmet. I tell all my passengers when I turn right look over my right shoulder, when I turn left look over my left shoulder. It’s all about coordinati...
