Yes, I know the Hornet has nothing to do with the bikes I'm looking after now. I only mentioned it as a baseline for what I'm used to.

I'll also consider the possibility of a used motorcycle, but at least in Portugal, their value decreases very little (unlike cars for example).

All bikes I mentioned are within my possibilities, but of course I will only select them if they are actually better for what I need than less expensive ones.

Many thanks Ralph, I'll definitely take a closer look at the V-Strom. I noticed that it has only 16.5 cm ground clearance, while most others have 18+ (including the Multistrada). You don't think that will be a problem in off-road situations?

Are you looking for more power than your Honda Hornet? Becase none of the above suggestions come close. To get 100bhp in the Adventure bike world, you need to be looking at 800 or 1000cc bikes.
