Re: Hi From NW Herts
Tuesday morning would be fine for me. Have to be back in Cambridge for a meeting at 3pm, but that gives the entire morning for drinking tea!

Re: Sorn ,why am i missing 3 months?
At a guess the 3rd party who sold you the bike forgot to send off the paperwork.
When they finally remembered they just used the current date of the day when they sent in the paperwork instead of back-dating.

Re: Cancer Charity Ride - An idea to raise cash!!
This is a great idea! I'm keen to get involved. I'm in Cambridge and am either happy to go for a ride with Rikbat while he has it (how is it getting here from Banbury? Maybe I can help there?) Otherwise I'm planning on going to the Touratech travel event (same weekend as the Taffy Dakar though - so ...

Re: Solo Adventure from London to Cape Town via West Africa (www.rtwdream.com)
Hey Tommy, Great website. I look forward to following your travels as they unfold. You sound like you have quite a lot of riding experience, so I was wondering what sort of mileage you're planning to cover daily if you intend to get to Cape Town with only 43 days of riding?! (Of course you've bought...

Re: Anyone out there using a KTM 690 for everything??
I use a 690 Enduro as my only bike. Absolutely adore mine. Every time I ride it I end up grinning from ear to ear. Out the box they do need some extra work to turn into a decent adventure bike as they are a little bit too off-road orientated but in total I've probably only spent a couple of hundred ...
