Re: Panzer Down !!

Good to hear you're ok and you've got a replacement bike while things get sorted.

Re: Honda X-ADV

Jak, some maxi's are easy to work on, some aren't. So far I'm finding my silverwing easy, which is good cos most dealers outside the big cities will know bugger all about them. Getting the rear wheel out for a tyre change isn't much more complicated than my tenere, but very different. Changing the b...

Re: What's you think is the best under rated bike you have owned

Underrated but loved GSX750F the teapot, almost a fast as a gixer but with comfort. TDM900, bought mine as a stopgap bike and kept it for 4 years and 40k miles. If they still made them I'd have one tomorrow. Way ahead of its time. Honda Silverwing 600, yep it's a scooter but I can't leave the damned...

Re: Whats happening to me ?

These days the tenere often stays in the shed, it's just too serious for an afternoon bimble round the dales. The current bimbling bike is a silverwing. Yep a scooter.
OMG I'm becoming a scooter evangelist!!!
And you think you've got problems.

The best time to really dazzle the approaching vehicle is when your about to pass each other a couple of metres apart at a closing speed of 120+
Apparently!
Not convinced though.

Re: Isle of Man TT 2017 - Newbie advice welcomed

Afternoon All I'm fortunate enough to be heading to the IoM TT next week for the very first time, always wanted to do it but never had the chance to do it, so really can't wait :-) Will be staying in a tent at Vagabonds RUFC (in sports center) at Union Mills. If anyone has any useful hints/tips for...

Oh damn, that means I'm the fat bastard now :-( Hope you've recovered anyway.
I could do with a bimble up to Big Scotland but kinda tied up next weekend, and too much work on at the mo to do something like the Nordkapp.
Enjoy yer lucky bugger :-)

Re: 14 plate s10 side stand /mirrors

Stop eating the pies Sy, that'll sort the problem :-)
Mk 1 bikes have steel stand so get one of them - I'm guessing the fixing is the same.
Next time your down this way bring the s10 and we can compare it with my vintage version.

Re: Helmet bag

Wrap it in a towel for protection, put it in a waterproof roll bag and bungee the whole lot on the back.
Or if you're pissed off with her forgo the waterproof bag... and then look on google for divorce lawyers :-)

I hope he's going to be ok.
Every time I've been to Italy the lunacy of the drivers has terrified me.
