Re: AS Linesman trousers

Great feedback, especially regarding size.

I'm still holding out for the Gravel trousers, although with a lottery win, I may get both.

Re: My Lands End Trial Adventure

Brings back memories.

I'm so glad I'll never 'have' to do that again, however, I reckon everyone should do it once. :)

Re: Sleeping mats

From what I have heard and seen, and I'm happy for people to tell me I'm wrong, the downfilled Exped mats have excellent reviews for warmth and comfort, although as stated above, they are expensive. I've always had Thermarests and may well try a Neoair Xtherm Max Wide when funds allow, however I bou...

Re: Grand Canaria Rental?

If you check on YouTube, one of the Gran Canaria rental places has the Ducati Desert X in stock.

I almost blagged a holiday but my missus wanted to go somewhere else.

Re: Electric Bikes... the Future?

I've been watching a few of the videos of this chap travelling on his electric bike. Whilst the bike seems to do the job, he does seem to spend a lot of time eating whilst his bike is charging. I'm interested and open to electric cars, but I can't see how bikes are going to work, without a massive u...

Re: what have you done to your bike today??

I had a lovely few hours servicing mine.

Oil drained from 4 places. Oil filled 4 places. 2 spark plugs, an oil filter and an air filter.

Didn't check the valves as I couldn't be arsed, but I'll do it soon.
