lets' face it, since their first movie many riders did RTW trips 100% unsupported and may of them solo, without any SUVs, backup money etc so these kinda trips are not any more something special. I just seen this rally wannabe today at local dealer and it was what I thought - regular crf250l covered with tons of oversize plastics which will brake in any drop or crash... Also access to engine is not that simple anymore, "dual sport" bike with fairing...honda gone mental. http://i3.kym-cdn.com...

honda added another boring bike to the stable with higher price tag. I just sold my crf250l and no regrets.

the closest match currently new on market would be v-strom 650xt or F700GS, and you can strip them down. waiting for t7 or other makes no sense as this could be as well up to 2 years and you don't even know what you'll get. p.s. I think it was global conspiracy to withdraw all middleweight twins fro...

for road use? stick with the stock tyres. They're good enough,
but if you wanna look better, get tkc80. Don't ride too fast in rain though.
