Belgium for Easter 2023

Does anyone fancy a trip to Bruges for Easter? We'll be staying in a hotel in the centre of Bruges, departing on the Eurotunnel on Friday 7th April, returning Monday 10th April. Rideouts through the day - drinking fine Belgian beers in the evening. Nothing is fixed though, so you are free to do exac...

Re: Towing a m/cycle to france, Germany, Switzerland

I brought 2 bikes back from Spain in July on a trailer; 1 with UK plates and 1 on Spanish plates. I had no trouble leaving Spain or entering the UK.

Re: Towing a m/cycle to france, Germany, Switzerland

The cost!

The ferry companies & eurotunnel charge more for a trailer than they do for the car you are towing it with! The exception are P&O who don't charge for a trailer up to 2m long - I'm building myself a transverse trailer for my bike to take advantage of this!

Re: Petrol in France

I read on one of the Face-ache groups that the fuel issues are mainly in the North. Arrive with a full tank, and from what I've read you should be OK if heading south.

Moto Adventure Tech in Poland

Has anyone used this company? Good/bad/indifferent?
I’m after some crash bars and they’re a decent price from these guys.

Re: Don’t crash in Europe

Yes, they keep the bike and give you the money. But I don’t know if they still repatriate the rider? They don’t give you any money for your bike. They will pay whatever duty/tax that is required to scrap your bike, and will arrange that for you. They will also repatriate you if they haven’t already...

Just changed my Caponord back from Spanish to English plates. A hell of a lot easier than the other way round!

FS - Cargo Endurance Tank Bag now £20

Cargo Endurance expandable magnetic tank bag. Good condition. 3 external pockets & top clear/map pocket. Comes with rain cover & shoulder strap. Slight issue with the zip - you need to use the puller arrowed in the last pic to open & close the bag; the other puller doesn't close the zip....
