Re: MotoGP - Valencia - any recommendations?

I rode down 3 years ago, really enjoyed it. As everyone has said your ticket is for a grandstand which is your seat for the whole event. I found that the stewards were ok for letting you watch from where you wanted on Friday & Saturday. I stayed at a hotel in the town next to a brand new footbal...

Re: POST OFFICE TRAVEL INSURANCE - WARNING

Well I renewed my PO travel insurance this week, I questioned them what I had read on here and the guy told me the Standard cover covers motorcyling up to 1500cc on recognised roads only including green lanes. It will not cover any kind of competition riding or if you stray into the jungle. I manage...

Re: The right to modify

I happily pay my £25 to Mag every year, I go to the occasional rally, they have an excellent recovery service at a reasonable price plus lots of other benefits that I should take advantage of. The main reason I'm a member is that I'm grateful that someone fights our cause and they deserve my meagre ...

One of my vans is restricted to 63mph. Its a pain because it accelerates really quick (for a van) then the acceleration just stops dead.

Re: Another knob bites the dust

I don't think any of my bikes go that fast? If they did I think I would switch the camera off before riding at those kind of speeds.

He's even more of a knob for providing the evidence that was used against him.

Re: bmw f650gs overland spec ON fleabay

I paid £1300 for my standard F650 with BMW paniers, the same year in vgc with 10,000 more miles. That's over £2k more

Re: Wheel Balancing

I have always balanced my road or race bikes wheels but never my enduro bike. I'm not sure if I would notice an out of balance wheel when its caked with mud etc. Also with security bolts on the rim you would need a lot of weights to counter balance those. I find on some bikes you can notice an out o...

Re: Off road training

I did a day with Mick Extance http://www.mickextanceexperience.com/ about a month ago.

It peed down all day, blowing a gale and I was the only one there. One to one from a 7 times Paris - Dakar rider using their bike was absolutely brilliant.

Re: First Aid

To drive anything bigger than a 7.5 tonne lorry professionally you have to do 5 days of CPC training. One of those days was first aid, it was the most useful and interesting part of the whole course. Before that I was one of the clueless at least I know now basic stuff and wouldn't worry about havin...

Re: eBay Sellers and Warranty

I think you've done well to have it last for 2 months. I'm on my fourth phone charger in the last year. 1st one about £6 from a local garage lasted a week. They did exchange it though and that one lasted about 4 weeks, I gave up with them after that. Next one on ebay cheap again stopped working afte...
