Schuberth C3 to C4 ?

Hi Guys Currently using a Schuberth C3 and thinking of upgrading to the C4, tried one on today but felt very tight. I am a size 61 in the C3 but the same size in the C4 felt to small. Now I know all new helmets feel a little snug at the beginning but wondered if i needed to go up a size for the C4, ...

Re: ebikes, what have you got?

I am riding a Haibike Trekker 4.0 with Bosch CX motor and a 500 AH battery pack. This is a great bike does everything I want, road, cycle paths, treks. I use to cycle " normal bikes" but gave up a couple of years ago. I have had an e bike for 18months now and ride it far more than I did my...

Re: Great Scotland trip post on ADVrider

Some great photo's on there. All done on a Suzuki 650 V Strom XT, fully loaded and 2 up!! Just goes to show, you don't have to have a 1200cc all singing and dancing bike to have an Adventure.

Re: Scottish Islands

I did the Shetland Islands a few years ago, really enjoyed. The roads were good, ferry up there was overnight from Aberdeen so no real time lost there. We spent some of our time chasing around the coastline looking for the Orka's. I will definitely return some time soon.

I also bought a pair of the bifocal safety glasses. Tried them out this weekend, and they have done the job for me, very pleased with them.

Re: Best All Roads (Adventure) Bike Between 700-1000cc?

I too am looking to downsize next time, currently ride a 1200 GSA, but looking at KTM 1090 and Ducati Multistrada 950. I think theses will give me all the power I need, and are not overladen with electronics. There is also the cost factor, I am in my sixties and still want to keep riding and 17K for...

Re: Indicating

On the theme of signalling, I always signal at at a roundabout, IT'S A JUNCTION, I think the theory behind over signalling for example when pulling out past parked vehicles etc is, if you signal too much it looses credibility. The principal of signalling by road positioning come into play. I'll leav...

Re: Whats happening to me ?

I get the same feelings. My ride these days has to have a purpose, a destination or a tour. Find it difficult to ride local these days, same old roads etc. I think part of my problem has been, being a lone rider, and getting all the kit on. A couple of good mates on a ride makes all the difference, ...
