Where are the modern GS owners?-- standing up for their adventure points of view? OK, I’ll bite on that one. A relatively modern F800GS, 10 years owned, 126,750 miles ridden in 46 countries on 4 continents. A fair bit of it with a sidecar attached. A lot of that felt like an adventure I can tell you.

What make model and reg number.

About 5 years ago I asked the question on here and found my old bike within half an hour.
I had to go and buy it after about 18 years apart, of course.

Just want to say thanks for all your reports,made me want to get over there more than ever. Where are you going next? Thanks for the vote of confidence. If you can get over to North America with your bike, or in a hire car, it really does have such a diverse range of stuff to see. Such varying land...
