Re: EU. In or out?

New Dunkirk to Rosslare ferry route to open, in order to bypass brexit England. So DFDS are confident enough that the delays at English ports from next year will make it more attractive to spend 24 hours on a ferry puking all the way around Cornwall than to sit in the england to eire landbridge que...

Re: Stonehenge

I think me needs to bring me sheep and have a little wander along the ancient droves of England like farmers did years ago.... Ancient rights long fogotton... It's a travesty the thing s people do to our countryside in the name of progress... The 2 byways that cross over the A303 should be reinstat...

the pain and pleasure of greenlaning on a big KTM

Isn’t it just a case of picking the route. Tiny tight trails like some UK green lanes then a small bike. Open trails and desert riding like most of south america or Morocco then a big bike. Personally I don’t have much interest in crawling along at 12km/h as I see on some ‘enduro’ trails. Would be f...

Re: Husqvarna TE630

Unfortunately upgrades don't add much to the value of a bike at all. It's a shame. Is that Moly from Sweet Lamb? It was his then it will have been looked after, but he definitely would have wrung it's neck a few times ;) I'd have paid £4k maybe back in Feb instead of buying my 950 that I don't gel w...

Re: Husqvarna TE630

No-one will buy it at that price. They've already had to knock a good £500. It's not that it's not worth it with the upgrades, but if spending £5k you might as well start from a fresh base, or buy something newer.

Nice though. I had been watching since it was listed.

Re: KTM 950 Adventure 04

Yeah the carb models are generally more sought after as the early fuel injection was snatchy and the teabag style filters were known to clog.

Re: Husqvarna TE630

Yeah I mentioned that one earlier in the thread. I can't look at it as I'm off on holiday. Never keen on bikes that have been sitting in a shed for years. Despite there not being many in the UK, they used to come up quite frequently on eBay, and forums. I remember monitoring a few a year or so ago.

Re: Husqvarna TE630

Probably because most of the big singles are rubbish at covering road distance. I took my xCountry 10,000 miles around South America. I did a lot of dirt roads, gravel, and some more off road, but that still probably left about 7,000 miles of long boring straight highway to cover and the 54bhp singl...

Re: Husqvarna TE630

There is a TE630 on ebay at the moment, but I'm not in a position to take a t look at it at moment as I'm due to go on holiday this weekend. The SWM have 2" less suspension front and back. So only 8" and 10" instead of 10" and 12" that is significant, as suspension issues ha...

Re: Husqvarna TE630

Ended up buying a 950 adv int he end, but it just doesn't suit me, so back to looking for a TE630. The SWM seems to lower quality suspension (and less of it) than the original. The only video I've seen of one it didn't start on the button first time, but I'm told that the original often didn't start...
