Re: Work Case #16 CRF450R

What sort of service intervals and hours usage/rebuilds/mileage are expected from these engines?

Re: New member saying hello

Hello Mike and welcome aboard. I see you've already found the section for the smaller bikes, which is providing quite active atm.
A section which is also close to my heart.

Re: Yamaha XT660z Tenere

My previous owner made his own, using the rear grab handles holes and the rear most subframe holes, beside the rear plastic or latch.
Sheet of alloy plate,4 spacers,4 countersunk bolts.
Those extra holes in it are just for attaching a dry bag when not using the top box.

Re: Yamaha XT660z Tenere

You'll notice you can keep the dip beam on and activate the high beam via the pass/flash switch simultaneously to see if it is worth doing the modification.

Re: Work Case #15 - Montesa Honda Trials Bike

Nice bikes, well built and quite expensive now.
I had a 2007 4rt for many years,but it's just road riding now.
Never as spritely as my sherco 290s but loads of engine braking and a fuel gauge would have been handy as no warning ,no transparent tank and no reserve it just stops.

Re: Go Big and Ride Small

I came across a similar silver bike to yours myself last year in Connemara, with some ingenious homemade handguards made from grey guttering, and painted blue 🤔.
