Re: ABR Festival - Please Read

That, i suspect is going to cause a LOT of trouble at the gate and possibly ruin the event as people turn up without a test and argue the toss.
Not sure i want to go now.

Re: Bikers ain't what they used to be.

I agree, once stopped for a power ranger on an R1, offered him my puncture repair kit and tyre pump. Refused and said the Rac are coming in 90 mins  so I tossed him my spare apple and said enjoy the wait  His face was priceless If i was just out for a bimble on my Himalayan (tubed t...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

I don't think anyone knows at the minute other than that it was a rental bike. Good point about lack of any other damage. I can't say I'm personally fussed by it. Maybe I should be. But my thought is that until it starts happening to one owner bikes with known usage (outside of India) then I'm not ...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

I managed to get a demo on the Himalayan at the festival, I was very impressed. Only getting one lap around the trail I'm very interested in taking a road demo from somewhere. One could well replace my shagged CRF250 for the daily commute when it finally gives up. I was genuinely surprised at how w...

Re: Chris Tunbridge - Tunneruk

Over on UKGSER we are having a collection to assist his partner with the funeral; the collection is now over £3500 and we would like it to get past £4500 so, i'm posting this here in case anyone would like to help out. Thankyou. "In the wake of Chris Tunbridge's (Tunneruk's) recent tragic pass...

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.

Finally got a test ride yesterday on the Himalayan at Bolton Motorcycles. Impressions? Well, I came back feeling that this was a really decent bike. Obviously the power wasn't going to tear your arms out but it was never meant to. Handling was good, suspension worked well enough with the potholes, ...

Re: klim

I had the Badlands at one time and yes it was stiff at first but they do soften. I parted company with it because in the end it was too small for me as i got the medium due to the sleeves on the large being too long; It was a mistake. I have had the Klim Overland since about 2015 now and love it. St...
