I had the Badlands at one time and yes it was stiff at first but they do soften. I parted company with it because in the end it was too small for me as i got the medium due to the sleeves on the large being too long; It was a mistake. I like Klim gear and did have a pair of the Klim summer gloves until i lost one in Alaska.
Anyway, i use the BMW Winter Pro gloves (on my second pair as i lost one of them in Alaska too, don't ask) and a finer glove, IMO you wont get.

What exactly do you mean by "off road?". Gravel trails? Muddy rutted trails? It makes a difference which to the type of tyre you choose. Not sure Revs Racing rebuild OEM shocks but these do. Repaired my 1200GS ESA rear shock for me.
