Re: Anyone tried these routes?
Used the motorail from Den Bosch to Alessandria in 2010, starting a journey that would take me around Italy, ferry across to Durres in Albania and back home via Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia, etc.. Arriving in the Netherlands off the Newcastle - Amsterdam boat it was an easy run to Den Bosch, bit of h...

Re: Hello from Kraków
Hello and welcome to the forum. I'll be passing your way in the middle of July. Can you recommend some bike friendly accommodation in your home city, please? Many thanks!

If I could just put a slightly different angle on this thread ...... I've been a full-time youth worker for almost 27 years now in both inner-city and rural environments, following a period of study and qualification, which came after lengthy voluntary work with local youth organisations. Here's a f...

Re: Anyone using Bennetts or Carol Nash?
I've been with the BMW insurance for a few years now with no issues and at a surprisingly reasonable cost. However a couple of years ago I bought a non-BM as a winter runabout and insured that through CN. Price fine, but then I sold the bike a month into a new insurance period. As I then found out,t...

Re: if you looking for a helmet cam
Just picked up a couple of Vivitar 'go-pro lookalikes' for £40 each in the Currys sale.
Thought it was worth a wee gamble, with a bike and helmet mount, screen and waterproof case.
Have put them on charge and need micro SD cards. Anyone used these cameras?

Re: dfds seaways discount for harwich to esjberj
If you're an AA member, part of their 'rewards' offer is 10% off DFDS ferry bookings, and from the website it looks like its applicable to Harwich-Esbjerg routes. I've just used it for a Newcastle-Amsterdam booking - you need to book by phone and quote your AA membership number.

Hi BB,
I'm based in Berwick, and would be happy to work with you on this. I've got an idea for a venue which might fit the bill (pardon the pun!)
Cheers!
John
