Pointers for Normandy, France

Chaps, Having been fortunate enough to have ridden all over Europe and beyond I still haven't visited Normandy !! Maybe I have just overlooked it as being 'too close', I don't know. However, I may have just a 4 day window to nip across the tunnel and then be back into Poole via the ferry from Cherbo...

Is it possible to fit a Sat Nav to my 6v vintage bike??

Hi Guys, I know pretty much nothing about electrics other than it makes your tongue feel funny when you lick a battery and you shouldn't stick your fingers in a plug socket.... I am planning a long distance ride on a 1968 Honda C200 (charity ride) and it would be easier if I could fit the Sat Nav fr...

Re: Sat nav wanted.

Gripper - I have a brand new, boxed, only opened to photograph, BMW Navigator 5.

It came with my dads 2016 BMW F800GT but we run on TomToms so it is surplus to requirements.

PM me if you are interested. I'll be advertising it on here soon anyway.

Re: Denmark ? Worth going for a quick blast?

Cheers guys, I am getting a similar vibe from the same question on one of my Facebook pages that I follow - it 'ok' but nothing to really write home about. I get the fact that its useful as a transit to Norway (which is on my list on a bike) but I just aint got enough time this next week for that. P...

Denmark ? Worth going for a quick blast?

Chaps, I have a five, maybe six, day window between work shifts and am looking for a quick blast. In similar circumstances I have ordinarily head to the Champagne, Rhine, Vosges, Black Forest areas but fancy pointing my bike elsewhere. Has anyone any experience of Denmark? I won't have the time to h...

Re: Any arcmchair lawyers got a view on a parking ticket issue?

Parking Awareness Course!!! HAHA, love it. Alas, I feel your ticket pain, but not too much as I tend to get back to my vehicles in time. As my mum used to say, "You don't know unless you ask", now seeing that you have asked us lot whether the council would review your past penalty charges,...

Re: FREE shipping pallet, Manchester

Sorry for the delay; I've had a look at the photo against the bike I'm wanting to box up (whole) and it's not going to work.

I think I'm better with a saw and a visit to the wood yard.

Thank you anyway.
