“The tour covers some of the most challenging and dramatic scenery the south of India has to offer across India’s exotic Western Ghat Mountains,” says Global Enduro’s Nick Capsey
“Not only that but participants get to ride the classic Royal Enfield Bullet – the longest-running motorcycle around.”
“Caring for a very sick child can be extremely traumatic, demanding and isolating for both the parents and the healthy siblings. The money raised by Global Enduro helps Rainbow Trust provide hands on, emotional and practical support for around 1,170 families across England – often during the final stages of a child’s life.”
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Global Enduro is holding a special 2,000km Enduro India ride out across across the Ghats in 2012, which it hopes will raise £1m for charity. Participation costs £4,995 fully inclusive and can be paid in full by the rider, fundraised, or a bit of both.
Enduro India only takes the costs needed to cover the running of the event. All other money raised is split between Adventure Ashram, a charity based in India and Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity
