Spring is in the air, so it’s time to get out on the bike! Here are five events not to miss…

10-12 MAY – Touratech Travel Event

The annual Touratech Travel Event returns once again for a weekend of adventure riding in the beautiful setting of the Brecon Beacons. Whether you’re new to motorcycling or you’ve been on two wheels for the past half-century, the Touratech Travel Event is a place where you can get together with like-minded riders and take part in workshops and rideouts. There’ll also be independent exhibitors, great food and on-site camping.

The Touratech Travel Event is taking place on the weekend of 10-12 May in the Rheola Grounds, Brecon Beacons, Wales.

10-12 MAY – Adventure Bike Rider Ireland Rally

This May will see the seventh annual ABR Ireland Rally being held in the wonderful surroundings of the Sperrin Mountains in Northern Ireland. It’s a perfect weekend of adventure riding that will give you the opportunity to make new friends and see some familiar faces from the ABR Forum.

With rideouts planned for the Saturday, you’ll get to take on some of Ireland and Northern Ireland’s best roads, while there’s an on-site bar, live music and great food to keep you occupied when back at camp. If you’re looking for a weekend away this spring, you’ll get a warm welcome here.

6-9 JUNE – Mach 3 – The Motorcycle and Music Festival

When a bike meet is run by Nick Sanders and its tagline is ‘not your average bike festival’, you can bet it’s going to be pretty special. Returning for its fourth consecutive year, Mach 3 is back for another fun-filled weekend in June.

With an itinerary that’s packed full of guest speakers, live music, rideouts, workshops, bike demos and lawn games, these four days in Llanidloes are the perfect way to kick off your biking season. There’s even a ‘quirky tent’ which will feature circus skills workshops and a 12ft laser robot that shoots fire…

21-23 – JUNE The Farmyard Party

The Farmyard Party is a motorcycle rally/festival set within the glorious grounds of Duncombe Park, Helmsley, and it has been going strong since 1987. The event offers bikers shed loads of day and night entertainment, including live music and comedy shows across four stages. Each stage has its own beer tent, while you’ll also find a real ale and party marquee where you’re sure to find a host of other bikers and their adventurous tales.

12-14 JUNE – Adventure Bike Rider Festival

If there’s just one biking event you go to this year, make it the Adventure Bike Rider Festival. Building on the success of last year’s gathering, 2019’s festival will offer more chances than ever for you to test ride all of the latest adventure bikes, with all of the major adventure motorcycle manufacturers bringing their test fleets along. There’ll also be an on-site adventure trail, an adventure bike park, access to the TomTom Little London Enduro Course, live music, guest speakers, and a host of trade stands.

The Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2019 kicks off at 9 am on Friday 12 July and comes to an end at 4 pm on Sunday 14 July. It will be taking place at Ragley Hall, Alcester, B49 5NJ, just a few miles away from Stratford upon Avon.
