SEPT 11 – Adventure Bike Shop Open Day

An event that tends to draw many from the adventure motorcycling community along for

the day. Expect talks from overland authors, book signings, trade stands, tea/coffee and food. All proceeds from food and drink go to the East Anglian Air Ambulance while there will be 10% off most items in Adventure Bike Shop.

How? Entry is free of charge so all you need to do is turn up on the day.

SEPT 16-18 – Haggs Horizons Unlimited Adventure Meet

A rally hosted amongst some of the country’s best scenery. Over the weekend there will be on and off-road ride outs, bonfires, live music and BBQs in the evening, as well as the Haggs Challenge, a road-based orienteering course.

OCT 1 – Ride to the Wall

Now in its ninth year, the Ride to the Wall is a motorcycle event that provides bikers with the chance to gather at a place of remembrance and pay respects to serving and fallen service men and women. The ride departs from various locations and all routes lead to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

OCT 14-16 – ABR Ecky Thump Rally

A camping rally held in a stunning area of North Yorkshire. The Ecky Thump Rally is another

that is organised by members of the ABR forum and offers everything you would expect from an adventure motorcycling rally. Ride outs in the day followed by beers around the campfire in the evening.

OCT 16 – Hoggin’ the Bridge

A charity ride across the Severn Bridge to Chepstow Racecourse in support of Meningitis Now and other local charities. At the racecourse, there will be bands, stalls and a variety of food outlets. Numbers can exceed 3,500 bikes, making this one a real spectacle to behold.

When ‘n’ where The ride starts off at 11 am on 16 October at the Brightside Group PLC car park (BS35 4BH), behind the Severn View Services, and culminates at Chepstow Racecourse.

How? To take part in the event you’ll need to make a donation which can be done online, on the day or at various trade stores.

OCT 27-30 – International Dirt Bike Show

An indoor event which welcomes thousands of off-road riders and enthusiasts through its doors looking to stock up on kit and check out the latest models from manufacturers.

You can also expect live action displays, rider interviews and competitions.

How? Advanced adults tickets cost £13 with discounts for children, senior citizens and Thursday entry. Entry on the door costs slightly more.
