- Adventure Travel Film Festival takes place this weekend (16-18th August)
- Hosted by Austin Vince and Lois Pryce
- Learn useful skills for making your own travel documentary
This year’s Adventure Travel Film Festival is only a few days away and it’s looking like the weekend of August 16-18th is going to be an inspiring one.
The Adventure Travel Film Festival, which is being held this weekend (16-18th August) in Sherborne, Dorset, will be hosted by legendary ABRs Austin Vince and Lois Pryce and if you want to see some incredible footage, listen to inspiring stories or have a good laugh, we reckon it’s the place to be.
The festival was set up by Lois and Austin in order to showcase the greatest adventure travel films from the 1920’s to the present day. If the footage on the festival’s website is anything to go by, they’ve got some awesome films to show.
As well as the films there’ll also be a host of adventure workshops and clinics for those who want to learn how to make their own documentary’s or blogs. Two of them are free to attend (How to film your adventure and Blogging on the road) while the others will be an additional £20 each. For a list of the clinics and workshops at the festival, click here.
Tickets for the weekend will cost you £75 or, if you want meals included, £106. Unfortunately you can’t buy single day tickets but children under 12 will get free admission.
